About this song
„To i hola” (originally „Jadą goście”) is one of Rokiczanka's biggest hits — a brisk, danceable folk song from the Kurpie region. It tells of a girl with no dowry whose mother will not give her away to just anyone — because a pair of blue eyes does its work. The light, infectious tune, with accordion, clarinet and fiddle, makes it hard to sit still.
You are downloading original backing track in Rokiczanka's arrangement — the sound straight from the album „W moim ogródecku” and the music video, only without singing. Not a cover, not a rework. Key of E minor.
What you can do with it
- Sing live — concerts, festivals, school assemblies, including paid performances
- Record and publish on YouTube — simply add a line to the video description: “Backing track: Rokiczanka — podklady.rokiczanka.pl”
- Practise without limits — rehearsals, lessons, your own recordings
Where it works well
- weddings and folk feasts — the energy of this song warms up any party
- festivals and folk showcases
- school celebrations and assemblies (Mother's Day, Grandmother's Day, Teacher's Day)
